Fat Wall expand the idea of the monochrome painting by using a different material than paint to create a monochrome and thereby add new perspectives to what a monochrome painting can be. At the same time, Fat Wall acts as a friendly mocking of the monochrome paintings from art history for being excluding insider art.

They show new possibilities of what a painting can be by combining sculpture materials, food, the landscape, and the human breathing into what is generally recognized as painting.
