The Inflatable Islands – KUNSTEN Museum of Modern Art

In an outreach project with KUNSTEN Museum of Modern Art in Aalborg, Denmark, from May to October 2023, the Inflatable Islands visited four festivals in Aalborg and the museum park.
Many people participated in the creative model-building workshops and helped carry the island. It was a lot of fun!

On the 20th of October 2023, Søren Dahlgaard presented the Dough Portrait event at KUNSTEN Museum of Modern Art Aalborg, Denmark. Over one hundred people participated.
A new feature was the dialogue between portrait paintings from the collection and the anti-portraits of the dough-covered museum visitors.
